Gem microscope is the most usual test instrument, to observe the inclusion and surface characteristic which can't see with naked eyes.It is requisite to test the synthetic gem. FGM-U2-19,it is easy to use,wide sphere of vision,sharpe and stereo image,and good cost performance.

Illumination source:Superbright white LED source,fixed with top illumination and bottom illumination,three kind of illumination:top light,bright field and dark field.
2.1 bottom illumition
Bottom illumination is made up of power switch,transformer,superbright LED source,transfer switch,brightness regulator and diaphragm.
(1) Bright field:press the BF button,the LEDs at the center of the botton are on,and the side LEDs are off. Then adjust the diaphragm according to the size the gem you test,in order to make the light source direct to the gem from the bottom.
(2) Dark field:press the DF button,this time the side LEDs are on,and LEDs at the center of bottom are off, adjust the diaphragm,make the source go through the gem from the side.
2.2 Top light
Press the top light switch,turn on the top light as the reflex.
3.Accessories of the instruments

4.1 Switch it on, choose a suitable illumination, turn the objective lens until the minimum magnification is achieved.
4.2 loosen the lock-handwheel and move the microscope up and down, make the test sample within the working distance.
4.3 Tighten the lock-handwheel, revolve the focus knob slowly until you see clear image through the right eyepiece.
4.4 observe through left eyepiece again,if the image is not clear,you can adjust the diopter until you see a clear image.
4.5Then turn the prism box at both sides in order to get a stereo and clear image.
4.6 You can also adjust the objective lens to get a larger magnification.
5.Replace the LEDS
LEDs is life-long,usually can use 3-5 years.We use plug in connection for the bottom light,so you can replace the LEDs more easily:Use a screwdriver to unscrew the bolt at the bottom.open the soleplate,then use the sarewdriver again to unscrew the bolts on the circuit board..pull the plug-in out,then fix the same LED circuit board we offered.
If you need to replace the top light,revolve the black lampshade,take down the circuit board,tip off the broken circuit board,then seal on the same Led circuit board.
6.1 Gem microscope is a precise instruments,so pls handle with care,cut off the power when your have finished your test,pluck off the plug,if you are don't need to use it for a long time.
6.2 keep away from the dust,keep it dry,use a dust helmet to cover it,put it in a pleasant clear dry place.
6.3 Pls don't take the instrument apart by yourself,all the accessories are at it's best in the groove.If there is oil mark and fingerprint,use absorbent cotton which with natalite,the ratio of ethyl alcohol and ether is 3:7 to clean it,don't let the liquid get into the microscope.
